MEUM Terms of Service

Chapter 1: General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms and conditions govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of NEWEASTART Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) and its members in relation to the online exhibition and related services (hereinafter referred to as “MEUM Services”) provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Definition of Terms)

  1. The definitions used in these terms are as follows:
    1. “The Company” refers to the business entity providing MEUM Services online.
    2. “Member” refers to an individual who agrees to these terms and is granted access to MEUM Services.
    3. “MEUM Services” includes online exhibitions and all related services provided by the Company to Members.
    4. “Exhibition” refers to a variable virtual world enabled through MEUM Services where multiple Members can communicate, enjoy leisure activities, foster friendships, and mediate information according to specific rules (“Exhibition Rules”).
    5. “Account (ID)” is the email created by the Member for identification and to use MEUM Services.
    6. “Account Information” encompasses general information provided by the Member to the Company, such as account, password, name, usage information for exhibitions, and payment status for services.
    7. “Character” denotes the play data that a Member selects and controls within the Exhibition according to the method provided by the Company for the use of MEUM Services.
    8. “Password” is a combination of characters, numbers, or special symbols selected by the Member for the protection of the Member’s information and rights.
    9. “Credits” refer to virtual data used for utilizing or purchasing MEUM Services, which Members buy with real money. Details are governed by the Transaction Terms of Service.
    10. “Posts” include all information posted by the Member using the service, such as text, documents, images, sounds, videos, or combinations thereof.
    11. “Transaction Terms of Service” pertain to the standard terms provided by the Company regarding Credits, alongside the MEUM standard terms.
  2. Definitions not specified in the above are subject to relevant laws and general commercial practices.

Article 3 (Provision of Company Information)

The Company shall post the following information on the initial screen of MEUM Services or on its homepage (meum.me) to ensure that Members can easily access it. However, the privacy policy and terms of service can be viewed through a linked screen.

  1. Corporate name and representative's name.
  2. Address of the place of business (including the address for handling complaints) and email address.
  3. Phone number, fax number.
  4. Business Registration Number, E-commerce Permit Number.
  5. Privacy Policy.
  6. Terms of Service Use.
